Incorporating Webster's definition of Simulation was an allusion to the belief that nothing may be real, especially those captured in oil centuries ago. Do I believe the conspiracy? Not really.

Inspired by the theme of two opposing eras, as well as ideals, I was drawn to create a representation of the digital age by replacing the human aspects of Lavinia Fontana's "Ritratto di Nobildonna", with the Matrix's binary strings.
